Nineteen to Twenty is a youth romance reality show which depicts the candid yet fresh friendship, love, and growth of Gen Z during their last week of teens and first week of twenties together. At School 19, the cast will take courses to learn everything they need to know before becoming adults, such as cooking, finances, and interpersonal relationships. However, there is only one rule -- dating is not allowed! And on December 31st, when they all become adults, they will be able to live out their dreams at House 20. A place where they can experience freedom, learn responsibility, and build memories together. As they spend their first week as adults together, free from all restrictions, what growing pains will they experience? Seyeon has been playing table tennis for about 10 years since he was in 2nd grade. In 2022, he won the national high school competition in doubles and joined the youth national team. In 2023, he joined Jecheon City Hall Table Tennis Team. His short-term goal is to win the Pro League next year, and his long-term goal is to travel abroad and experience more of the world. As for his personality, he is kind of shy around strangers, but can be pretty funny around his friends.
Jungyun was a baseball player until his first year of high school, and is now taking acting and dancing classes to pursue a new career as an actor. He is a bit awkward when he meets somebody for the first time, but can be a real chatterbox when he becomes close. Because he went to an all-boys high school, he did not really have a chance to interact with girls, and only has guy friends.
Seoyeong's dream is to pursue a career in acting. She loves playing a role and getting into character, and wants to become an actress who will be remembered. When thinking about turning 20, she feels a mixture of both sadness and excitement. The first thing she wants to do as an adult is to get her driver's license and skillfully park in reverse.
Seohyeon loves to take photos, sketch buildings, and design floor plans, and wants to become an architect just like her father. After becoming an adult, her dream is to date someone in college. And she cannot wait to play drinking games with friends. When asked if she is popular among friends, she says she does not know, but her friends do call her the beauty queen of high school.
Sangwon graduated high school early and has already completed his first year at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). His dream is to become a robotics engineer, as he wants to build robots that will help people with their daily tasks to make their lives easier. People say his personality is like a golden retriever, and he thinks it is because he loves to meet new people and is always cheerful.
Heeji loves to exercise, especially cycling, weightlifting, and running. Her dream job is to become a pilates instructor just like her mother. As for her personality, she is pretty easygoing, and is comfortable hanging out with both girls and guys. She has always dreamt of doing the New Year's countdown outside a bar with friends, and as soon as it turns midnight, go inside and order a drink with her ID stuck to her forehead.
Jimin has been playing soccer, baseball, and practicing Taekwondo since he was a kid, so his dream is to become a sports instructor. He says he is kind of a popular guy, and boasts of receiving more Pepero sticks than any of his friends on Pepero Day.
Yerin is planning to major in aviation to become a flight attendant. Her friends always says that she is super chill, and that they can always count on her unlike their boyfriends. When she turns 20, she really wants to fall in love and date someone, as she has never been in a long term relationship before.
Jiwoo is a social person so she would love to meet people from difference cultures and provide them with great service as a flight attendant. She confesses about being pretty popular, as people think that she is cute and easygoing upon first impression, so they just talk to her.
Pyeongseok's father runs a hapkido gym so he has been training and competing since he was a child, and has even won a world martial arts championship. Although he might look hard to approach at first, his friends says he is a sweetheart once you get to know him.
