Physical: Asia Quest 4 Battle Rope Relay & 1200kg Pillar Push Death Match

Physical: Asia Quest 4, the Battle Rope Relay, is a brutal challenge that requires arm strength, speed, and upper-body endurance. Only the country that wins first place in the Battle Rope Relay will advance directly to the next quest. While the three losing teams will need to battle it out in a 1200kg Pillar Push Death Match to survive.

'Physical: Asia' QUEST 4: Battle Rope Relay

In the Battle Rope Relay, each player whips the weighted ropes up and down, creating waves, to strike a device attached to the end. The hits will only count if the force delivered to the device meets the required threshold. Each six-person team can only select three representatives to participate in the match. The players take turns to play in a predetermined order, and must switch out every minute.

With Team Korea's strong lineup of three guys, they were expected to win, by a long shot. It will be a fierce battle between Teams Australia and Mongolia for that final qualifying spot.

Mongolia goes slow and steady from the start to conserve energy. There is no need to rush and burn out, as this is going to be a 100-lap marathon. In the interim score, Korea was first to reach the 50th lap. While Mongolia and Australia are neck and neck at 46 and 45 laps respectively. All teams were determined to keep going in this inescapable hell, and never paused to rest. With their relentless perseverance and overwhelming power, Korea was the first to complete 100 laps, and are safe from elimination. The remaining two teams dig deep and pushed forward with fervent determination not to be eliminated. In the end, Mongolia beat Australia, who were only four laps behind, and are safe from elimination.

The country eliminated from the fourth quest is Team Australia. Great effort by the athletes who gave their all, and left nothing. The Aussies have proven themselves to be one of the strongest, if not the strongest, teams in the competition. Incredible job!
