This restaurant has been around for well over 100 years already, serving traditional Italian cuisine, and is a deeply rooted Parma institution. The restaurant's original name means 'The Two Plane Trees.' When they took over this restaurant, they made it their mission to preserve the long-standing values of this place as they are. And ever since the two took the reins, the restaurant has been listed in the Michelin Guide every year since 2013.
The banquet hall grandmother owner is a master chef with 68 years of experience. At the age of 82, she selects fresh ingredients herself, and continues to work passionately in the kitchen. The first restaurant she opened was tiny with only five tables, where she mainly sold malatang back then. She had so many customers that there was not enough room inside. From the days of having only five tables, she now runs two buildings, and is a family-run business. The restaurant boasts a massive kitchen where 40 staff can serve 500 people, and has a menu with over a hundred dishes to choose from.
Fenesta Verde is a family-run restaurant for three generations, currently owned and operated by sister chefs Luisa and Laura for the past 35 years.
