Change Days: Season 2 Episode 14 Recap - My Lover's Blind Spot
The second day of the '48-Hour Secret Change Date!' This time Dohyeong waits anxiously at the Change House, while Jiyu spends the entire day out. And Yunseul musters up courage to ask Taewan out! On the next day, final choice D-2... The couples are given a chance to go on a date with their original partner. Who will say 'Yes' and who will say 'No'...?

A new morning begins! 3 days until final selection...
Taewan & Jiyu Secret Change Date
It turns out Taewan and Jiyu both like outdoor activities and talked about going off-roading on their previous change date. As a man of his word, he kept his promise to take her. So bumpy and scary, but the two have fun with the off-road experience. A great stress reliever!
On the way back, she talks about her fight with Dohyeong last night. For the first time she got to say everything she wanted to say to him and it was satisfying. But she was taken aback by his random mention of someone else. Taewan is all smiles to hear it is Huihyeon. Good news for him as he thought Dohyeong was interested in Hyeyeon. But for her this new piece of info really shook her up... Lending an ear to her worries, he says to her, "At the end of the day, it'll be your decision. I'll support whatever you decide."
Jeonghun & Huihyeon
Huihyeon, who suddenly changed after the 'Room Change,' is still sticking to Jeonghun like a glue. She very openly warned him to not go out on a date in front of everyone which made all the women back off too. So for two days, he just stays put at the house.
While resting in his room, she comes looking for him again. He is curious and asks about her sudden change in attitude expressing things so openly. "I just don't like it. I can't stand seeing you with other girls," she says. No longer able to accept seeing new sides of him smiling a lot while on dates with others. Their chat turns into an argument when she brings up his issue of never laughing or talking much even when they first started dating, but he begs to differ...
As both start getting upset, she lets him rest. Before leaving, she asks if he has anything else to say, fully expecting an apology. But he shakes his head. Later, she returns and clings onto him. "Don't get me wrong," she says. "I'm sorry. That's not what I meant. Let's not fight."

At this time, Hyogi also seeks Yunseul out to talk and to apologize for getting angry at her for what Taewan said. But whenever she tries to talk, he keeps cutting her off. Poor girl is feeling so sick and tired. And suddenly he says, "Don't you owe me an apology too?" Once again he brings up the past 500 days holding onto grudges, and listing out all of her faults... Instead of hearing a sincere apology, she is blamed for what happened in the past as the cause of all of his actions. So ridiculous! In the end, she kicks him out and locks the door.
When Taewan returns, Yunseul musters up courage to go ask him out. But Hyogi barges into the room hearing her voice from the hallway. Straight up trying to block her from a date when he himself asked Jiyu out. Unable to say anything with him lingering there, she leaves to wait for the right timing. It took three attempts, but she got it done. "Let's go on a date!"

While the two quietly leaves, Dohyeong catches them through the window. Haha...
In the car, Hyogi tries to ask Jiyu for details about Yunseul's date, but she tells him to just ask her himself. Aware of the issues he needs to work on, he seeks advice wanting to know what is on Yunseul's mind. Jiyu feels they both want the same thing from each other, respect. "You guys only talk about yourselves. I don't think you guys listen to each other enough."

Out for a drink, Taewan and Yunseul clink glasses. He compliments her for getting dolled up, and looking so pretty for the date. Now that they are closer, a very different vibe than the first awkward date. The banter between the two is cute.
Now that they only have a few days left here, he asks what is her plan. Is it to put more effort into resolving things with Hyogi, getting to know others better, or to focus on herself? For her, all three. As for priority, getting herself together comes first. Then getting to know others, and lastly Hyogi. He feels the same way, he comes first. As for things with Hyeyeon, he has done everything he could and does not want to put anymore effort into it.
About his final choice, he cannot be sure of his feelings as things keep fluctuating. One day it is good while the next day could be bad. "Even in just a couple of days, we might change our minds again," he says. As for her, "I don't know if I'll change my mind but based on how I feel today... I won't choose to stay with Hyogi," she says.
At the Change House
Those not on a date have dinner together back at the house. Hyeyeon is so silent... It seems so awkward between Dohyeong and her now. He did straight up embarrass her yesterday all asking if he made her heart flutter only to tell her his heart fluttered for Huihyeon.
Afterwards, Hyeyeon quietly returns to her room and gives her mom a call. Mom advises her to think more about herself over her relationship with others and to express her feelings. She tears up. Much needed love and support, mom is so sweet~

Dohyeong & Jiyu
After her dates, here comes Dohyeong going to her looking like a sad puppy. "I felt down the whole day. I missed you so much," he says. Putting himself in her shoes for once, he knows what it finally feels like to be the one waiting all day.
Although grateful to hear what he just said, she opens up and honestly shares how she feels. Pointing out to him that there are still many things they both need to keep working on. "If I do decide to be with you at the end of this trip, I want to make sure that it's the right choice," she says. Such words may be upsetting to hear, but she wants him to know that they should both continue to make an effort to help improve their relationship.
2 Days Until Final Selection
At the start of a new day, a new KakaoTalk message arrives! <Original Partner Date> "Would you like to go on a date with your partner? [YES] or [NO] *Do not discuss with others."
Taewan chooses 'YES,' hoping to have a nice date with Hyeyeon. While she also says 'YES,' hoping to tell him everything she is thinking and feeling. Hyogi and Yunseul also both choose 'YES' despite being afraid of fighting again. Jeonghun and Huihyeon both picks 'YES' without any hesitation hoping to talk more. Lastly, Dohyeong and Jiyu says 'YES' too as soon as they each saw the message. Everyone choosing to make an effort, all YES!
Though they are not supposed to discuss the date, Huihyeon and Dohyeong are making it so obvious about their choices happily celebrating. And when Jiyu does not show any emotions, he breaks the rules asking if she saw the KaTalk message in front of others...

Later, talking amongst themselves, he once again asks if she saw the message. He wonders why she is not expressing happiness since it made him feel really happy. Then compares her saying how Huihyeon got all excited so he wanted her to be that way too... "Seeing Huihyeon react that way made me envious of Jeonghun," he says. Jiyu is simply following the rules not making it obvious. So she does not understand why he is disappointed in her for not reacting in a way he thinks she should react, but he continues to push his argument...
After returning to her room and taking a moment to think, she apologizes to him for being too sensitive earlier and did not mean to disregard his feelings. He feels upset now realizing how different they are after their conversations from yesterday and today. And then brings up how she felt they could not change in the past. He now understands what she meant concluding it must be the reason for why she left him like that back then...
Feeling like all of her effort has gone down the drain, she is hurt by his words. Then the sight of him eating and casually watching videos as if nothing happened only made her angrier... Realizing they would not have a productive conversation today, she marches into his room to say, "We're not going on a date today." Date canceled~ 👏
Now that she is being true to her own feelings and no longer catering to his mood, he tries to guilt her about the past again and even threatens a breakup... Unbelievable...
On the next episode of Change Days 2, Yunseul tells Hyogi during the 'Original Couple Date' he should have broken up with her if he was so unhappy during the 500 days. And Taewan is in tears saying to Hyeyeon, "I'm sick and tired of this. Let's stop this." And all the participants have chosen their final change date partner... the results will be announced...
