Alumni Lovers is a reality dating show where friends from school may become lovers. In this school reunion, eight alumni from the 67th graduating class of Seoul Sindong Elementary School (Class of 2012) meet again after 11 years. Now, as adults at the age of 24, the former classmates gather with the curiosity of 'How did that friend from school grow up now?' For 5 days and 4 nights, the school friends will live and spend time together at a lodging in Gangneung, while exploring the possibility of love. How will memories and past relationships change in the present? Can school friends become lovers?

Male Cast Members:
Eunhak describes himself as very cheerful and social since he was a child. His childhood friends nicknamed him Mr. Active because he was always really active and hyper. He was someone who had to do everything that he wanted when he was young, so he participated in every activity that he could. He served as vice president of his class, played sports like soccer and baseball, and got pretty good grades too. He thinks this reunion will make his heart flutter in a new way.
Jungu liked playing pranks when he was in elementary school, and also liked playing games and soccer. He describes himself as a typical elementary school boy, and that his friends all thought he was funny. He likes cool and easygoing girls who are easy to approach, and thinks this reunion will give him butterflies.
Bumhyuk was very shy and not very talkative as a child. He just followed what the adults told him to do, and was a stereotypical model student. Although he does not know who will be there at the reunion, he hopes to be able to find love.
Bumjun was a very quiet child who nobody took notice of. He is introverted, but likes fancy things, so there are two sides to his personality. And describes himself as a "quiet attention seeker." If he finds someone he likes, he will approach her first.
Female Cast Members:
As a child, Taeeun was really into physical activities and running around. She also kept learning ballet since she wanted to major in it, and some of her closest friends said she was a really good dancer. In 2020, she participated in the Miss Chunhyang Pageant and placed 1st runner-up. She really wants to be in a relationship and hopes to find love that feels like destiny during this reunion.
Back in elementary school, Jina was a lot more introverted than she is now. But she gradually became more outgoing after participating in executive activities in the 4th and 5th grades. She was really into entertainment and sports, and even entered in events like art competitions and won awards. She is half excited and half nervous, but thinks this is a good opportunity to find new love.
In elementary school, Jieun liked performing on stage and getting people's attention. She enjoyed sports, participated in relay races, and liked playing dodgeball a lot. When others were asked who was the most popular person back then, many said it was Jieun. She is very shy around strangers, so she tends to wait for someone to choose and approach her first.
Jaerim was a model student, and was voted as the student who would listen to the teachers really well whenever there was a student survey. And also liked singing and dancing a lot when she was young. She came prepared to have her heart flutter, hoping to form a good relationship during this reunion.
