Netflix 'Love Like a K-Drama' Cast Instagram

Love Like a K-Drama is a reality dating show to find out if two actors can fall in love for real while shooting romantic scenes in a drama. Four actresses from Japan and four actors from Korea live together in Seoul for a month while auditioning for the leading roles in a romantic drama. The eight cast members will pair up, rehearse, and compete to land the lead roles in six different love stories. Only the pair who wins the audition will get to star in the drama and shoot the kissing scenes. Will the love between them be an act? Or will it lead to something more in the process? Love Like a K-Drama is an experiment to see what happens if you mix love and acting. Can a serious kissing scene between two actors bloom into true love?

Ayano Kudo (27)

Ayano has never acted in a proper romantic drama before, which she thinks is probably because of her height. As for her love life? It has been a while since she has been in a relationship, so she is excited to see if this experience can lead to something more.

Honoka Kitahara (25)

This is Honoka's first time abroad. She hopes this experience in Korea will rekindle her love for acting. And, she says, it would be nice to meet a good partner and fall in love.

Nozomi Bando (26)

Nozomi debuted with a group called E-girls and have been working as a musical artist. She is a bit insecure due to her lack of acting experience. Through this experience, she hopes to learn how her peers approach acting and achieve some personal growth.

Jihyuk is a member of Korean boy band Supernova, and has been active as an actor for five years. He has also worked in Japan, in Japanese, in plays and musicals, so he knows how challenging it will be for the actresses to overcome the language barrier to act in Korea. He promises to work alongside with them and support them in any way he can to make this a happy memory.

Lee Tae Gyun (27)
