Make the best choice for survival, make the best deal! The Community 2: Invisible Hand is a social experiment survival game where today's survival is determined by trade and negotiations to fulfill their respective needs. The Community Town consists of 13 contestants with different values divided into four groups, categorized by color. Each group has a specialized role. Group White determines the prize money, Group Blue manages survival, Group Red controls the games, and Group Black distributes food and information. In order for all residents to survive the full 9 days and split the prize money of $200,000, each group must effectively make use of their distinct advantages. When faced with limited resources and conflicting interests, what choices will the residents with different sets of values make? Will they be able to reach negotiations and the perfect balance everyone is satisfied with?

Meet the Contestants of The Community 2: Invisible Hand — Names, Age, Occupation, and Instagram!
Note: At Community Town, the contestants use a chosen nickname instead of their real names.
Team White determines the prize money. Diamonds are equivalent to the prize money of the residents. The total prize money of $200,000 will be based on the number of diamonds acquired at the end of the residency. Each resident will earn the prize money based on the number of diamonds acquired.
Team Blue manages survival. Life represents the lives of the residents. At the time when all official activities come to an end on each day, each resident must submit one life. When a resident fails to submit a life, that resident will be removed immediately from Community Town. When removed, the acquired diamonds may not be earned as prize money. However, when there is only one resident left in a group, that resident will not be removed even with zero lives.
Team Red controls the games. Credits represent the opportunities of the residents. All activities, including trading, in Community Town require credits. More credits will provide more choices for the residents.
Team Black is the merchant of Community Town who decides the prices of the items sold at the supermarket. To run the supermarket, one life is required for one day. The diamonds acquired through sales will be the merchant's prize. And only Team Black will be able to check the resource information. However, it is not required to share the information accurately. (Note: A hidden role is revealed in Episode 2).
The Community 2: Invisible Hand Cast Values Code
Before moving into Community Town, all the residents took a test to assess their values and mindsets toward financial decisions. The test measures criteria for judgment and decisions across three levels: ethics, society, and the individual. White represents an idealistic mindset, and black represents a pragmatic mindset.
The ethics level (bottom) identifies the decision-making criteria when facing moral dilemmas. Prioritizing established principles over individual limitations aligns with principlism. Prioritizing to maximize the overall benefit even at the expense of subjective decisions aligns with consequentialism.
The society level (middle) identifies the worldview about the distribution of economic resources in society. Prioritizing institutions and policies to reduce inequality is classified as structuralism. Prioritizing individual effort and talent over systemic factors is classified as meritocracy.
The individual level (top) identifies an individual's life priorities. Placing greater value on non-monetary aspects is classified as leaning toward meaning. Emphasizing that economic stability underpins all other values is classified as leaning toward practicality.
The symbols representing values across the three levels are divided into two. High-density symbols indicate strong tendencies and low-density symbols indicate weak tendencies.
