Lee Ga Heun & Kim Hyun Woo's Friend-some Day

Previously, Gaheun returned home from a "Friend-some Day" with Youngjoo to find the "Pick a Friend" capsule toy vending machine waiting at the door. After unboxing it, she turned the knob without hesitation. Nervousness x100!! The capsule is popped open. A $100 allowance, not bad at all! But she seems flustered...Who is it?? The name on the card is Kim Hyun Woo! No way! The MCs are shook! Sangmin asks, "For real?" Gaheun froze upon seeing his name though. The reason for her concern is as she says, "Not much is known about him. He is kind of like under a veil [mysterious]. What should I do?"

Gaheun reached out to hack-inssa Jaeho for help but to no avail. Hyunwoo changed his number so Jaeho had lost contact with him. It has been 2 years since they last talked. Jaeho misses Hyunwoo a lot, and wanted to reconnect with him too. After a longer than expected call because Jaeho would not hang up, Gaheun turned to someone else for help. This time, she got Hyunwoo's number right away. From who...?

The First Meeting D-Day

10am at Gaheun and Onzo's (her cat) house. After weighing exactly 90g of cat food for Onzo, she busily returns to her room to choose an outfit. As Sangmin guesses, she must be meeting someone today...

Last night, Gaheun gave Hyunwoo a call to introduce herself and to plan the meet-up. After asking what he likes to do, he said his hobby these days is learning about flowers. The two decided to go in that direction where Hyunwoo will make the arrangements for tomorrow. Call ends. A brief but very awkward phone conversation.

D-Day! Gaheun finishes getting ready and will go meet "the Kim Hyun Woo" today. The PD crew asks her, "Do you think you guys will connect?" She says with hesitation, "That person... I don't know." She packs her purse and puts on a mask, heading out the door feeling half-excited, half-worried.

Who Is Gaheun Waiting For?

Gaheun is patiently waiting outside while a guy slowly approaches with light steps. He calls out "Gaheun-ah~" and she cheerfully responds "oppa~" upon seeing him. Oh! The MCs are surprised to see Jaeho. Turns out they will be going together after she sent out an SOS asking for help. Jaeho knows Hyunwoo much better since they did share a room at the Signal House. She called him to gloat about getting Hyunwoo's number. How?! From an unexpected person, Dokyun! Jaeho sulked, "Why does Hyunwoo hyung keep in contact with Dokyun and not with me?"

As Jaeho reveals, "I couldn't reach him at some point, and I haven't seen him since. I am clueless as to why. I was very worried. I even thought if I had did anything wrong..."

Gaheun & Jaeho's Thrifty Shopping

Upon seeing Gaheun, Jaeho teases, "Why do you look so different from when you see me?" The two cutely bicker teasing each other for dressing up. They enter the supermarket for some grocery shopping. Jaeho suggests giving Hyunwoo a call to ask what to buy. He feels nervous while Gaheun calls. "Hyung! It's me Jaeho. It's been a while," he greets. Laughter~ Craving the eggplant rice bowl from 3 years ago, Jaeho makes the request. Hyunwoo agrees to cook it for them and lists out the ingredients to get. They quickly take care of the shopping list: carrots, potatoes, pork shoulder, eggplant, etc. While making sure to not go over budget by calculating the prices.

To the Place Where Hyunwoo Is Waiting

On the way, Jaeho asks if Gaheun is nervous to meet Hyunwoo for the first time. She answers, "I am. He's really a question mark to me." After asking Youngjoo about him, she found out how he does not talk much. Full of worry, "If I ask about this and that, would he hate it?" Jaeho assures her he would not. "The Hyunwoo hyung I know is sharp in a way. A little bit... But if you get to know him, he's very warmhearted," he says. Then adds, "He really took good care of me." And with a sense of regret, "But then... I couldn't see him anymore."

Hyunwoo & Gaheun's First Meeting

And just like that, they have arrived at the place where Hyunwoo is waiting. Jaeho excitedly yells out "hyung" while Gaheun greets him with a polite bow. "Annyeonghaseyo~"

Q. What is your first impression of Hyunwoo?

Gaheun says, "He had a presence just as I imagined him to. I thought it'd be 'It's different after meeting you?' but it really was 'He's just like I imagined.'"

Hyunwoo greets Jaeho with a smile, "What... It's been 2 years." Jaeho responds, "It's been a long time, hyung~"
