First Love, Again: Episode 4 Recap - Unfamiliar Excitement
The residents of 'First Love Sharehouse' enjoy a surprise date chosen at random on the way home from work. With a chance to get to know others, will new feelings develop? And later in the evening, personal information (age, jobs) is finally disclosed!

Surprise After-Work Date
Everyone is on the way to their meeting location... Who will go on a date with whom?
Han Byeol & Yeon Ju Excitement Again
Hanbyeol pays a surprise visit to pick up Yeonju from work, who are both excited to see each other. He sweetly prepared coffee and chocolate for her to enjoy in the car after a long day. A heart fluttering moment, chocolate is her favorite!
Unfamiliar with the roads in Seoul, he is unable to follow the navigation directions and adds 1 hour in travel time. But she shows great consideration for him joking that he must have come this way on purpose so that they can enjoy the pretty Han River view. Feeling better after her comment, he jokes that it was part of his plan.
But thanks to the unexpected detour, the two were able to share a more serious conversation today. Like her future plans and views on life. Things she did not get to talk much about since she was so focused on her immediate goals back then. She expresses how helpful he was to her when she had a hard time. "I feel grateful to you," she says. "And I feel sorry about many things." A lot is on his mind after hearing her sincere words.
The two who met again reconfirmed how comfortable they are when together and showed off amazing chemistry with their tiki-taka banter. Perhaps what they needed was a break and not a breakup after all...
Ji Myung & Ji An Unexpected 'Us'
Jian is on her way to meet her date and the man who is waiting for her is Jimyung. Neither of them expected it, a new combination. They sit down to chat a nearby cafe. Facing each other for the first time, she keeps bursting into laughter. Too awkward!
But thanks to some playful tiki-taka banter teasing each other for spilling food, they soon feel more comfortable. She even shares with him her concerns about her current job. Though it is her childhood dream, she no longer feels as passionate about it as when she first started. He also shares how excited he was when he first started his career but felt lost over time and did not see a future. They advise each other to be more patient and hold on.
Sharing similar concerns, the two soon got a bit closer and cheered each other on. Fighting~ Rather than romantic feelings, it felt more like a budding friendship. But what is certain is that he looked way more comfortable with Jian than with his ex-girlfriend Heeram...
Je Seok & Hee Ram Excitement at Hand
Jeseok and Heeram, who wanted to go on a date with each other, are paired up for the date. She smiles brightly excited to see him. And he said, "My heart beat faster when I saw her."
On the walk home, they stop by a bakery to get some pastries. To make the most out of their time, he actively approaches and suggest they sit down to talk. Sharing a coffee and a pastry together, they are getting closer. He stares at her intently with heart eyes~
He is curious about why she joined the show. Though she summoned someone, she wanted to meet others too before deciding on anything. To try to know more of her thoughts, he asks who she had the best first impression of. But she keeps it a secret. As it turns out, she said it was Hanbyeol in an interview, who gave off a healthy image. When asked if she still feels the strongest about that person, she says it has changed and gives her reason. And catches him trying to guess who it might be...
As for views on a relationship, he can only date who he is excited about. For her, it cannot be too strong as she would try too hard to impress and ends up hiding her true self. A balance of excitement and feeling at ease is what she wants. "I can do that," he says. Ooh!
Unlike with Jian, Jeseok is showing active interest in Heeram. Next time, will Heeram be able to take one step closer toward him?
Young Bae & Han Seul Between Chance and Fate
Hoping to go on a date with Jeseok, Hanseul hears a familiar voice calling out her name. It is Youngbae again, and she is denying reality. A look of disappointment. Haha...
In the interview, Youngbae said, "I thought Hanseul and I might be meant to be. Whatever we do, we end up together." While she said, "I was starting to wonder if this was a prank."
Another coincidence brought them together again. As they walk along a familiar path, the two enjoy the city's beautiful night view by Cheonggyecheon and take some photos.
How did Hanseul feel after her 3rd date with Youngbae? After a sigh, she said, "I wondered if I wasn't being fully honest with my feelings. My head says it will not work out between us. So maybe that made me restrain my feelings."
Meeting again after breaking up. Was this reunion decided by fate and not chance?
3rd Night at First Love Sharehouse
After their dates, the residents return to the First Love Sharehouse. Hanbyeol and Jian are in charge of cooking dinner tonight and prepare delicious suyuk and bibimmyeon.

Over dinner, they can finally disclose their age and occupation!
