TVING Original EXchange (Transit Love) returns with Season 2! A reality dating show where former couples gather under one roof to look back on their past relationships. As well as face new relationships to find their own love. Between 'X' or 'NEW,' who will they choose?
Episode 1. Long Time No See, Nice to Meet You
Move-in Day: Thursday, May 12, 2022
One by one, the participants move into the house located in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. A lavish neighborhood!
Move-In Guidelines
- Intentional disclosure of 'Ex' is prohibited.
- A relationship is not allowed until the final decision.
- Sharing social media accounts and phone numbers is not allowed.
- Personal information other than your name cannot be disclosed arbitrarily.
- Cooking & cleaning are done by 2 people (1 male, 1 female) on a rotational basis.
- The potted plants & flowers in the house need to be watered once a day.
- Residents eat dinner together every evening.
Transit Love Season 2 Cast Introduction
In order of arrival...
- Choi Yi Hyun (ENTP)
- Jung Gyu Min (ENTJ)
- Lee Na Yeon (ESFP)
- Park Won Bin (ENFJ)
- Seon Min Gi (INTP)
- Kim Ji Soo (ENFP)
- Lee Ji Yeon (ESTP)
- Kim Tae I (INTJ)
Yihyun who is first to arrive gives a strong first impression due to her resemblance with Noze (Street Woman Fighter). Gyumin is charmed by Wonbin finding him so adorable. A bromance may be forming! Nayeon exudes a sophisticated feel like an announcer. While Mingi, the only introvert so far, is calm and quiet. Jisoo is petite and full of aegyo, while Jiyeon seems bubbly and cheerful. And lastly, Taei arrives on a motorcycle giving off a cool bad boy vibe.
The participants try to figure out each other's MBTI right away as it is the trend. Interestingly, there is no overlap. With all of them being experts, they are quickly making inferences about each other's personalities based off of it.
After a quick tour of the house, they decide on room allocations:
- 1st Floor Room: Jisoo and Jiyeon
- 1st Floor Room: Gyumin and Mingi
- 2nd Floor Room: Nayeon and Yihyun
- 2nd Floor Room: Taei and Wonbin
A suspicious moment occurs when Mingi just walks pass Yihyun, who is seen struggling with her suitcase at the bottom of the stairs. He blatantly ignores her, and did not offer any help or even ask. Is he intentionally avoiding her?
- Grocery Shopping → Jisoo, Nayeon, Mingi, Wonbin
- Cooking → Jiyeon, Yihyun, Taei, Gyumin
First Dinner Together
While the grocery team heads out to shop, the cooking team stays behind at the house. The topic of ideal type comes up. When asked, Taei says, "A pretty one..." And Yihyun hilariously scoffs at his answer. Their comfort level and 'tiki-taka' banter with one another is looking a bit suspicious. The studio panel seems certain there is something between them...
Later, Taei takes on the role of main chef for tonight to make gungjung tteokbokki (royal court rice cake). While the others prepare steak and pasta. Jiyeon notices that Taei cut himself and asks if anyone has a bandaid. Yihyun finds the first aid kit, and calls Taei over to help him put on a bandaid herself. Ooh...
Once dinner is ready, the cast members sit down to enjoy their first meal together. They pour each other a drink and make a toast, "Nice to meet you~" The lights are dimmed to create an atmosphere, making them drink more. The soju tastes especially sweet~
Son Byung Ho Drinking Game
Over dinner, they play the 'Son Byung Ho' drinking game where everyone holds up 5 fingers and takes turns asking a question. They have to fold a finger if it applies, and the first with no fingers left drinks!
