After a date with Jimyung, Yeonju is off to meet Hanbyeol, who is her choice date.
Yeon Ju & Han Byeol: A Gift Prepared for You
Hanbyeol shows up with anticipation at Naksan Park, and is curious about why Yeonju chose him for the date. Thankful for all the love he has shown her, she wanted to be that person for him this time. So she planned a date to admire the beautiful night view in Seoul together. The chance for her to return the favor. To become someone he is grateful for like she promised in the past. And he is deeply touched that she remembered.
After walking for a while, her feet begin to hurt from wearing dress shoes. "Oppa, it's time for us to switch shoes," she jokingly says. But without hesitation, he really did switch shoes! She is touched and thankful by how sweet he is. The shoes are even too small for him, but yet he hiked up the steps like it was nothing. These things only happen in movies like My Sassy Girl so where can one find a guy as sweet as Hanbyeol??
In spite of the weather not cooperating, the two enjoyed a memorable date. Very sweet~
<First Love Again, Radio> The Temperature of Our Love
Everyone gathers back at the sharehouse after the dates. DJ Yoon Ju is back with 'First Love Again, Radio' asking, "What is the temperature of your love?" Their stories have been shared anonymously so far... But from now on, names will be revealed!
The 'inner heart' love lines get mixed up with practically everyone switching choices from last night... After a difficult date with Jeseok today, Hanseul realized she is more comfortable with Youngbae. But Youngbae expressed new interest now by choosing Heeram. And even asked her on a breakfast date tomorrow. During the interview, Hanseul tears up, not knowing where her feelings lie. While Youngbae was not too happy about her message tonight as it sounded more like a reciprocal letter as a thank you. Timing separates them once again...
Heeram, who enjoyed a painting class date today, sends an 'inner heart' message to Jeseok. But he sent one to Jian... Unable to hit it off during the date, his feelings for Heeram changed today. And when equating his heart to the temperature of 100 ℃ boiling point, his feelings for Heeram dropped to about 20° while it is about 70° for Jian. But Jian, who only had a heart for Jeseok, suddenly sent a message to Hanbyeol...
And when Hanbyeol sent a message to Yeonju, she sent hers to Jimyung... So happy that he cannot keep a straight face as Jimyung chose Yeonju again. Two hearts finally match! As the studio panel says the real deal begins now! Now that past regrets have been sorted out, they can finally open up their hearts to someone new.
Is Love Fate or Choice?
Jian, who is feeling anxious about not choosing Jeseok tonight, seeks advice from the others on what to do. She finally musters up the courage to go talk to him to explain her choice, and avoid any possible misunderstandings. "I didn't get the wrong idea," he says. He assures her of his choice tonight too, "I could be true to myself the most with you." She is literally jumping for joy after the talk with him, so cute~
At the same time, Hanseul is struggling at the sharehouse. Now that she knows Heeram and Youngbae are interested in each other, she does not want to get in between them. Instead of joining the group for a drink, she quietly retreats to her room to be alone. She breaks down in tears during the interview about not being able to fit in, having a hard time here, disappointed in herself. While the temperature of love rose for some, it feels mercilessly cold for her...
Temperature of a Confused Heart
A new day begins at the sharehouse. Youngbae knocks on Heeram's door. They made plans to have breakfast together, but she does not wake up... He ends up going out by himself and gets porridge for her. While she feels sorry for being hungover and breaking the promise.
The fact that she did not value the promise she made with him that much, Youngbae said, "It made the interest I had in her decrease." While Heeram feels uncomfortable, for feeling sorry about breaking the promise and for being worried about Hanseul. "I felt all sorts of feelings at the same time. For today, they will spilt up into two groups for a Han River date or a valley date.
- Han River Date: Youngbae, Jeseok, Heeram, Jian
- Valley Date: Jimyung, Hanbyeol, Hanseul, Yeonju
Arriving at the valley, a nice atmosphere. Hanbyeol bluntly brings up how they only have 4 to 5 days left but Hanseul is looking like she is elsewhere. He noticed how she is struggling and wanted to watch over her and help her. He says, "As we grow older, we need to work harder to fit in. When we do nothing, nobody will come to help us." She is thankful to hear his words, which helped her make up her mind to have fun and enjoy the time left here.
Yeonju joins the valley group date after work. Jimyung sweetly helps her debone the chicken while her ex Hanbyeol watches on. Rather than feeling jealous, he wants to root for them. He seems to have made up his mind to be friends with her. Was the night view date closure?
Meanwhile, the Han River group date is having a BBQ party. Jian and Jeseok make progress showing affection to each other. She takes care of him feeding him the first bite of meat while he peels shrimp for her. Heeram and Youngbae feeling like a third wheel... haha...
The Scent of Love That Permeates
After the group date, Yeonju returns to find a beautiful bouquet of flowers in her room. She is sure it is from Jimyung. And she is right! He remembered that she likes purple, and prepared it for her. The unexpected gift is a success! She is happy, and he is happy she is happy~
