An Emotional Night at First Love Sharehouse
After a fun date today, Jeseok sent an 'inner heart' message to Ahyun, and not Jian. As he is unsure about his feelings for Jian, he feels burdened by how others are pushing him towards her. The date today felt like an escape from the pressure he was under. "My date with Ahyun felt like a real date," he said. "I was so into it that nothing crossed my mind." And cleverly put in a song request to play Jaurim's 'Twenty-Five, Twenty-One,' which is the drama they talked about earlier. Tonight, their hearts faced each other. Jian, who received a signal from him just a night before, is left confused...
Jian calls Heeram to her room to talk, and hated how Ahyun looked at her as if she had won. The truth is clouded by her emotions as the actual scene shows. Jian did not see Ahyun as a threat initially, but realizes now how much they connected. "I can't beat someone who knows how to talk to Jeseok," she says. It has now become a competition for her...
One's Heart on a Postcard
For tomorrow's date, the men get to choose and have to submit a date request on a postcard by 11pm tonight. And if someone receives more than one date request, she may only choose one person for the date.
Without hesitation, Jimyung submits a date request to Yeonju, asking her out on an aquarium date. And when Heeram checks her mailbox... 3? Turns out all are from Hanbyeol! Youngbae struggles, writing, and rewriting it again using up 20 postcards to show his sincerity. When he finally delivers it, he sees 2 other postcards... One from Jeseok and one from Rang. Ahyun is the popular recipient! Out of the 3 guys, who will she choose?
While chatting with Hanbyeol, Hanseul calls over Youngbae who is walking by and hilariously tells him to go flirt with Ahyun. Hoping he gets chosen over Rang who she is interested in. An unexpected alliance between the former couple! Rooting for each other's happiness~
Men's Choice Date
Youngbae is up bright and early to prepare breakfast for Ahyun. Jeseok passes by to see the two spending quality time together. Both are bothered and trying to keep each other in check. Jeseok pulls Ahyun aside for a second, and offers to give her a ride to work. Youngbae sadly missed his timing... And Ahyun heads to work with Jeseok. He got her coffee and her favorite snacks. Sweetly remembering all the little details. Very attentive~
The Beginning of a Love Square
After dropping off Ahyun, Jeseok returns to the Sharehouse. Chatting with Rang, he finds out for the first time that Rang also chose Ahyun. Getting nervous...A love square?! It is suddenly a survival competition!
When Rang first arrived, he was interested in two people. Hanseul and Ahyun. Before he can decide on anything, he wants to talk to both first. After hearing how Jeseok drove her to work today, he says, "That made me realize I shouldn't just stay still." A warning to let him know he will step up his game. What will happen with this love square?
Rang & Young Bae Bromance
Next, Rang invites Youngbae out to coffee. At the drawing cafe, Rang honestly tells him he is feeling emotionally stressed here. Did not think he would be invested so quickly. Youngbae is sorry and feels he should have been more caring to a dongsaeng who joined later. He should have heard out his worries and told him more about Hanseul. Giving him his full support!
And as Rang wants the chance to get to know Ahyun too, he wants to fully open up and keep things clear. So that things will not get uncomfortable between them. Youngbae agrees.
Since they are here, they draw a portrait of each other. Full of nervousness observing closely and finding each other cute. They exchange drawings half-worried and half-excited. Both are so bad at drawing, hilarious! A cute bromance date~
Je Seok's Inner Feelings
Not having anybody to share his inner feelings with, Jeseok invites a friend out to talk. When talking about Jian, who summoned him as a first love, he admits to not having heart-fluttering feelings. As for Ahyun, "My heart fluttered uncontrollably. My ears got really red too," he says to his friend. Although not love at first sight, he is attracted to her unexpected charms. Friend advises him to actively show his feelings. Although she may feel overwhelmed, he tells him it is better to go all the way than to regret it later.
Ji Myung & Yeon Ju Date: Like a Movie
Jimyung waits for Yeonju at the aquarium with an excited heart. So cute~ They both chose to wear an item with each other's favorite color. She is happy as the place takes her back to her childhood. And then they face each other through the fish tank just like the famous scene out of Romeo and Juliet. Heart-fluttering~
Afterwards, they sit down at a restaurant fighting over trying to serve each other food. Sweet! As a surprise, he invited two close friends today. Although taken aback at first, she warms up quickly joking around with them and asking questions about Jimyung. And his friends do well with the assist saying he is extra considerate because of his strong feelings for her. A sudden meeting with friends can be uncomfortable, but it went quite nicely.
Han Byeol & Hee Ram Date: Hearts Start to Diverge
Heeram dresses up for the date and Hanbyeol is all smiles seeing how pretty she is. Arriving at the rooftop restaurant, she is confused about why they are sitting side-by-side. Turns out a few friends were invited. Looks like this friend invitation thing was planned by production...
Awkward and feeling burdened, Heeram looks more and more uncomfortable. Taking care of his friends first, Hanbyeol and his friends start eating. While she is busily cutting up the steak for them. A friend offers to help, but Hanbyeol chimes in telling her, "Please cut it for us." And tells his friends to enjoy their meal. Oh my gosh... Too inconsiderate...
"I felt ignored and invisible during the meal," she said in the interview. "I felt really sad." While he mistakenly thought everything went well, "I think Heeram enjoyed the date too."
Young Bae & A Hyun Date: The Moment Sincerity is Felt
Asked out by 3 guys last night, Ahyun had a hard decision to make. But one felt extra sincere and touched her. It is Youngbae! Revising his postcard over and over again paid off. Thinking about what would make her happy after work, he got flowers for her. Pink roses which means "promise of love." So sweet~
Curious about why he was chosen, he asks, "Why me?" Ahyun was touched how he came to greet her on the first day. It left a good impression, and she was thankful. What he wrote was also heartfelt and sincere, so she wanted to take this chance to get to know each other.
Although awkward at first, he puts in effort to make her laugh. She reacts well and bursts into laughter at everything he says. Laughing so much that her cheekbones are hurting. Her ideal type has changed recently. "It's someone who makes me laugh," she says. Ooh~ And seeing her laughing so much, he feels proud and excited. His interest in her is growing~
Hope It Reaches Your Heart
After the date, Youngbae returns to the Sharehouse full of excitement. Jimyung has not seen him act this way before. Thinking he must have finally found the one!
And Rang acts quickly hearing Ahyun return. He gives her a gift and requests a date with her tomorrow. After returning to her room, she finds more flowers and a surprise gift. It is a box of eye drops that she needed. A gift from Jeseok! She briefly mentioned it, and he stopped by a pharmacy to get it for her. The thoughtful gift was delivered with Hanseul's help.
Opening up the gift from Rang, it is vitamins. Overwhelmed by all the kindness, she is now in a dilemma... "What's going on? Am I dreaming?" she said. "I appreciate it all but I don't know how to react to this. How do I reciprocate all of these? I felt a mix of emotions."
On the next episode of First Love, Again, it is time for the women to choose their date ahead of the final selection... One guy received 3 date requests... Who will it be? 😮
