Love Catcher in Seoul: Episode 3 Recap
On the last episode of Love Catcher in Seoul, Jungwoo is revealed as a money catcher. The reason for participating as a money catcher is to find true love though. If there is someone he likes, he will change to love. And Dana, the female catfish, arrived to complete the cast. The men all showed interest at once, so will the current love lines shake up with her arrival?
The First Couple Challenge
Morning of the 2nd day at the 'Love Mansion.' As the guys are slowly waking up, Jaehyung is nowhere to be seen. Gone since 6am...
Over at the female accommodations, Dana and Inseong are also up early. Both say they do not fall in love easily, but who knows what may happen after living together for a week...
The two girls prepare breakfast for the group together. Inseong asks Dana if anyone caught her eye when she first arrived. Dana was a bit flustered since she came in alone, and cannot even remember the faces or names properly yet. Though the panel thinks Jungwoo did catch her eye last night.
Soowon enters the kitchen, and asks if Dana wants coffee. He makes coffee for her, and she asks him to help make breakfast together. In the interview, Soowon says about Dana, "She's tall, doesn't seem to be shy, and seems to have an active personality. I think it's good."
Everyone gathers for breakfast, thanking Dana for the food, and eats deliciously. Dana takes care of Jungwoo, handing him a sandwich and tissue. Inseong takes notice, and cannot hide her sad expression.
Jaehyung is still missing at breakfast... Where did he go?? Suddenly hating the Porsche, he does not want to drive that car anymore because of the shame from the first day. So he went home to change his car... This time, a yellow Lamborghini! What the?! hahaha... Bringing out a different car to have a date with a different person. His new target? Dana!
While guy Jimin is doing the dishes, girl Jimin who has a crush on him actively approaches to help. Creating a chance to talk with him more. Though she feels he is more interested in the unnies, and that she is more like a younger sibling because of the 9-year age difference. Still she follows her heart and is courageously expressing herself. Fighting, cheering for you!
After breakfast, the TV monitor suddenly turns on to announce the first couple challenge. It is the signature of 'Love Catcher,' the couple photo shoot! When all 10 first met last night, those sitting facing opposite each other is today's challenge couple!
Couple Photo Shoot Challenge
Photo Shoot Location: Paraspara Seoul (파라스파라 서울)
The 5 couples head out separately to the photo shoot location. After checking into their hotel rooms, different outfits are ready for them to choose to go with the concept.
Jaehyung waits at the gym for Jimin who cutely shows up with a pucca hairstyle. He says, "It was cute. It fit well with the outfit, and there was a lovely feeling."
The married couple, Kim Chang-gyu and Cha Eun-seo, arrive to introduce themselves as the photographers in charge of the shoot today.
Jaehyung and Jimin stand far apart from one another. So awkward! The photographers gives ideas on how to pose, even suggesting for him to lift her up on one shoulder. Cute!
Soowon is taken aback by the sexy concept, but will do his best to win the challenge to get a night date with Haneul. The bold swimsuit photo shoot takes place by the pool. Yeomin is not shy at all, takes his hand, and places it on her thigh for the pose. Really intense eye contact between the two. Like pros!
Meanwhile, Haneul and Jimin are in their room waiting for their night shoot. She gets in bed to take a nap, and Jimin ends up taking a nap next to her too. Omo~
To get ready for the photo shoot, Wonjae keeps doing pushups. Too funny! He shyly smiles when Inseong enters the room, saying how it looks good on her. Then proceeds to do more pushups. Haha... So nervous!
A bit awkward as the poses involve some close skinship. Inseong shyly places her hand on his chest, while he also cutely seeks permission before placing his hand on her thigh. Photos turned out quite well, really cool.
A couple photo shoot on the bed. Dana is also like a pro, directing Jungwoo on how to pose for the cameras. Then actively moving her hand for him to hold. He unconsciously blurts out the word "good." Oooh...
Jungwoo says in the interview, "A feeling of falling [for Dana] more easily than I thought."
With similar smiles, it really does feel like a sweet newlywed couple.
Like a midnight party, they sit down to pose with a glass of wine. Haneul feels a bit shy and Jimin does his best to lead her well. Helping her feel more comfortable.
The tension rises as they lean in close, staring at each other's lips. "What are you thinking about?" he asks. "I don't know...," she nervously replies. She cannot stop moving her fingers on his shoulder. A fluttering feeling... The photos are stunning, like a movie poster.
After the photo shoots are completed, everyone gathers at the 'Love Mansion' for the results. The photographers evaluate and give their comments on the couples.
For Jungwoo & Dana, the two were prepared, worked so hard, and smiled beautifully. Really felt like a newlywed couple. And were surprised by how friendly they were with one another despite still using formal speech. The critique is that Jungwoo did not look at the camera well and was a bit awkward when looking at Dana.
For Soowon & Yeomin, because the two of them were so active, there was no need to coach them separately. Photos like a real pictorial came out quickly. Left a deep impression, the two were so proactive.
For Wonjae & Inseong, also like a real pictorial. Upon starting, their eyes drastically changed and they were able to follow well despite the difficult instructions.
For Jaehyung & Jimin, it was a bit awkward at first but gradually their shyness was able to be expressed in a cute way.
For Jimin & Haneul, the photographers felt the nervous tension between the two while taking the shots. This helped give off a sexy vibe.
The 1st place couple for the photo shoot challenge will each receive a night date choice. The winners are Lee Yeomin and Jung Soowon! Congrats!
Yeomin & Jungwoo Night Date
The night date choices are revealed to everyone on the TV monitor...
Yeomin and Jungwoo head out on their night date, which was a completely surprising choice. She expresses how the two have not had a chance to talk yet, and he says he wanted to talk to her too. In the car, they take turns complimenting each other on the photos today. Another pair with good chemistry, as he seems to fit well with everyone.

On a rainy night, the night view is a bit obscured. But as Loco says, whether or not you can see the view is not what is important.
Soowon & Haneul Night Date
On the way, Soowon and Haneul talk about the votes from yesterday. He was worried since she did not choose him during the dinner date, but got a vote. So he wanted to go on a date with her. Haneul asks him about the photo shoot today. He says it was fun, but confirms how he did not have any feelings for Yeomin. As for Haneul, she says it was comfortable. Adding that Jimin is really sweet. His face hardens, unable to hide his displeasure.
Date Location: Cattle 꿰뚫
The date is at a fancy Hanwoo beef omakase restaurant. Looks delicious! Soowon wonders what to do if 1st place again. Haneul teases, saying she might not pick him. Then he will just go to bed early, since it is about the results on the final night (alluding she will pick him then). "Annoying~ Why are you so confident?" she asks...
The mood changes when she tells him to try going on a date with someone else. "I'll do it if you tell me to. I'll listen to you," he says. "I won't do it if you tell me not to." But she remains silent... He wants to seek confirmation and asks if she is still interested in 2 people. Has it not changed? But once again, she hesitates and does not answer. Not what he was hoping for...
Truth Game at the Love Mansion
Meanwhile, those left behind at the accommodations end up gathering for drinks. They agree to drop the honorifics and speak casually. Over soju, they start playing the 'Truth Game.'
Q. Is there a person who has obviously expressed interest to you here at the Love Mansion?
A. None.
Q. There's someone you're interested in right... Have you expressed it so far? Obviously?
A. No.
In his own way, he has tried to get closer without putting too much pressure. But he has not obviously expressed his interest yet.

They wrap up and call it a night. The girls had fun hanging out with the group. The guys also enjoyed the night, saying how everyone answered quite honestly. Jimin feels more confused now, but Wonjae feels sure now. Oh? Who is it? So curious...
A Change in Love Lines
Returning from the date, the girls tease Yeomin as soon as she walks in the room... Ehhhhh~ "Are you all drunk?" she asks. Too cute. They went to see the night view, but could not see a thing due to the fog. She thinks Jungwoo oppa is really fun, and has an emotional side to him that matches well with her. It was a good choice. Haneul also returns and says she was able to have a deep talk with Soowon during the drive and over dinner.
Meanwhile, Soowon returns with a tired and complicated expression. And Jungwoo does not know what to do now either, telling Jaehyung it is a new start...
In the room where they can express interest, Jungwoo hesitates, paces around while feeling confused and troubled... He opens up Inseong's storage locker, and continues to think... But in the end, he takes out his heart coin and places it into Dana's locker.
Earlier in the evening, Dana also casted her heart coin vote for Jungwoo. Things are getting interesting!
On the next episode, Haneul did not receive any heart coins... Confusion and tears... 💔
