Love Catcher in Seoul: Episode 4 Recap (Part 2)
On this episode of Love Catcher in Seoul, the couples will compete in a dance challenge for a chance to enter the 'Secret Room.' And will the current love lines all be revealed?
Couple Dance Challenge
Everyone changes into matching outfits for the couple dance. Time to perform! Dancesport master, Park Ji-eun, tells them to not be too nervous, relax, and to do their best until the very end. Fighting!
1st Couple: Jung Soowon & Lee Haneul
Music starts, and their expression changes right away. Overcoming the nervousness of going first. Really in sync with one another. All of the shyness gone. A bold hug to end the stage!
2nd Couple: Ahn Jimin & Lee Inseong
Heading up to the stage, full of nervousness. Under Jimin's lead, the harmony with Inseong is complete. Haneul says, "So sweet!" The two do look cute! Jungwoo watches carefully. The dance ends cutely with Inseong's kiss on the cheek. Chu~ Melting!
Surprise and smiles all around for the sweet ending pose. Dana teases, "Are they dating?" Except for Jungwoo and girl Jimin who were unable to smile. Jimin cutely expresses, "I'm so upset." Aigoo~ what to do~
3rd Couple: Yoon Jungwoo & Yang Jimin
Yeomin compliments, "Like a princess!" Although awkward and unfamiliar, the two practiced hard. Doing their best. A neat ending pose finish!
4th Couple: Kang Wonjae & Jung Dana
The dance starts with their own language as they exchange looks. Eyes focused only on the other person. An intense gaze! The enjoyment from dance practice is fully conveyed. Wonjae lifts her up and spins around, a powerful finish! Wow~
Wonjae says during the interview, "Through today's partner challenge, I feel like there will be a change of heart."
5th Couple: Seo Jaehyung & Lee Yeomin
Jaehyung is full of confidence. Turns out he is a former idol! Debuted in 2012 with idol group A-Jax, he was the visual and center. A unexpected twist! Right from the start, an exceptional gaze. An intense couple dance that shows the skills of two pros. A perfect ending pose! Loud cheers and a big round of applause~
As the master Ji-eun says, dancing is originally done with the eyes. Their eyes changed right away, and she can tell Jaehyung has done some dancing before. Good job.
1st Place Goes To...
Time for evaluations. Master Ji-eun asks if Soowon has also danced before, but it is his first time. She seems surprised to hear he has never learned dance before. For this couple, she can see that the male is really enthusiastic so it was good. Sunny agrees how one can see the heart through dance, and the master was able to tell from their performance.
For Jimin-Inseong couple: The female's willingness to work hard, and the male's activeness and confidence showed. "Looked like an ideal couple," the master says.
For Jaehyung-Yeomin couple: Rather than trying to dance beautifully, they tried their best to dance. Because you can see the person's sincerity, it looked beautiful. Their eyes looked like a machine gun firing bullets at each other. Da-da-da-da-da... Just based on this, the master wants to give them 100 points. A job well done!
1st place in the couple dance challenge earns the chance to enter the 'Secret Room.' A place where secrets of the cast members are revealed.

Driving Home to the Love Mansion
On the way back, Dana rides alone with Wonjae. Quite a nice atmosphere over small talk. They politely thank each other for the hard work today. He says, "I think I saw a new side of noona today."
Jimin-Inseong couple rides along with Soowon-Haneul couple. Inseong feels grateful toward Jimin oppa today. She felt a bit mentally out of it in the middle and had to leave the room. But upon returning, he did not ask a thing and just said "fighting fighting!" Haneul praises him for being cool and totally sweet, right in front of Soowon.
Haneul asks what Soowon is thinking about. It is strange, he says. Since he has done things with Haneul twice already, he feels there is no burden but she looks embarrassed. She says oppa looks even more embarrassed in response. On the contrary, he feels comfortable since they have talked a few times already. "Isn't it uncomfortable?" she retorts. They literally about to argue. He says she thinks weirdly, but she disagrees. Rather than weird, she says, why 'of all people' with oppa... just became a couple...
The panel is surprised to hear Haneul use the term 'ha-pil' 하필 (off all things/people to occur) as it implies a negative tone. Doyeon feels she may have said it a bit wrong here.
To lighten up the heavy mood, Inseong cutely says, "Anyway, the hands are the ideal type~" After what Haneul just said, Soowon gets snarky though, saying perhaps only the hands are the ideal type. She cynically asks what use is there having hands as the ideal type. Yikes... a strange atmosphere between the two... growing discomfort...
Today's Interest Votes
Back at the mansion, Soowon and Jimin casted their interest votes already and asks how the other 3 guys will vote. Jaehyung honestly confesses he has changed it once every day. Jimin also reveals he has changed today and has a story, but it is hard to explain...
The TV monitor turns on in the living room to announce that it is time to check votes. Soowon sees the same message in the guys room. Those already there go check one by one, but not shown to the viewers. The results for Haneul is revealed though, 0 votes! What?!
Soowon belatedly joins the group and sees Haneul's expression. Girl looking quite upset. He checks his locker, got 1 vote. Instead of returning to the living room, he goes to his room with a complicated heart. Meanwhile, Haneul confides in Dana privately about the no votes today. Despite always worrying over it, she has just left her heart coin in his. Not understanding why he so openly expresses interest in her in front of everyone, making her feel like a fool now...
Haneul Confides in Jimin
Soowon returns to join the rest of the group, overhears Haneul is cold, and quietly goes turn up the temperature. Jimin wants to drink soju with Haneul, who asks him to go outside. He is a bit hesitant at first, but later agrees to go out and talk.
Haneul feels Jimin knows what is bothering her. Talking about her concerns, she honestly did give the vote a lot of thought today too. She can understand Soowon's decision... Just would have liked it if he talked to her first. Wondering if she should call him outside to talk too to get his thoughts.
If you like him, Jimin says, you already know he likes you... But Haneul is afraid. Scared how her actions may cause hurt to others, and how she may also get hurt. He feels she is making things too hard on herself, that she is going to cry. "I'm similar to you," he says. "I'm afraid I'll get hurt." In response, Haneul says, "I was worried that I would get hurt. I really did get hurt. Before you become like me, I hope you can open up your heart."
Haneul's Interview
Haneul also gave it a lot of thought today before casting her interest vote, so she somewhat understands Soowon oppa's decision. *tears* She suspected him of being a money catcher because of his actions toward her. Questioning how he can be so sure from day 1. To her, it felt scary how oppa went straight to her like that. Worried about being abandoned. *tears*
"I never thought coming here I would feel this way. What if I really did [give my heart], but this person changes? Or what if it's all a lie?"
Because of this, Haneul is unable to be honest with her feelings in front of Soowon. Despite having feelings for him too, the two are sadly not moving at the same pace.
"I don't know. Will he have a change of heart? I don't think [my heart] will change." Thinking she should try to sort out her feelings now. Ottoke~ their timing is off...
The Truth Game
Back inside, the group talks about how everyone feels a complicated heart now. Soowon is trying to calm himself down. Inseong tells him she brought a lot of medicine if he does not feel well. He asks, "What should I do if my heart hurts?" She tells him to watch a sad movie and cry his heart out. Sigh... they are both hurting...
Meanwhile, Haneul and Jimin returns. Quite noticeable she has been crying. She takes a sip of beer, they all drink together... cheers~ Wonjae suggests playing the 'Truth Game' again.
Q: Are you interested in 2 or more people here?
A: No, it's 1 person.
Girl Jimin → Wonjae:
Q. Are you interested in 1 or 2 people?
A. 1 person.
A. Oh... *flustered* 1?
He thinks someone must have hurt her. "Exactly!!" she says, "You got it right." He asks who did it, but Soowon teases what if it is you? It is not me, he says. Complete denial. Dana says the perpetrator originally does not know. Wonjae agrees, only the victim knows. So basically they all know except for him... really??
Q. Here at the Love Mansion, are you interested in 1 or 2 people?
An important moment as the panel says, please say 1...
A. More than 2.
This was his chance, and he royally messed up. Haneul is not looking happy...

Inseong sighs, feeling guilty, thinking she should not have intervened between the two. Dana says, no no, you helped give them a chance to talk. But Inseong is about to burst into tears. Jungwoo reaches out and pulls her next to him, puts his arm around her shoulder to console her. And very naturally keeps his arm around her chair... aww... too sweet~
Soowon & Haneul
Soowon cannot help but to feel sorry to her... Haneul says she is okay, it does not feel all that good to hear him say sorry. She who feels a bit pathetic and miserable... With a bit of regret, he wonders if only he had not been so aggressive since day 1 and 2...
